Port Everglades is America's second busiest cruise port. 1.3 million passengers took cruises from Port Everglades in 2005. The port is partly in Fort Lauderdale and is about 25 miles north of Miami.

Cruises from Port Everglades actually depart from several cities at once. The massive port complex is partially in Hollywood, Fort Lauderdale, Dania, and Broward County. There are eleven Port Everglades cruise terminals.
